    Signature C&C thread

Post by Someday on Wed Apr 04, 2012 9:34 pm

Post your signatures, and we could C&C them. C&C being Comment and criticism. Try and pick a few things you like and dislike, and explain why. Also, for anyone interested in making signatures and other types of art here's a fourm which contains resources, tutorials and such. - http://www.express-yourself.org

I'm no photoshop pro, infact far from it.. But i'll get us started. Smile

Nice sig dude, but here are some pointers you need to work on.

You mainly want to focus your rending outwards like so -

your is really bland and in no direction,

also try to use gradient maps, and curves on your tools.. they help greatly.

Wow, looks 100 times better. I'm not really sure how to work gradient maps. And im unsure about what 'curves on you tools' means, but thanks for the advice, much appreciated! I'll look into gradient maps, also may i ask how you blend your render so that it doesnt look like it's just be put there? Thanks again. ^_^

Okays, so i tried out gradient map and curves. I don't know if im doing it 10o% right or not.. I also duplicated it all and smuged the background, then lowered the opacity to blend it a little more, still it isn't as good as yours. But i had a go! Very Happy

Edit, forgot to burn it again and stuffs.., i'll finish tomorrow. -.-
