Eternal Nightmare Project Timeline.

Timeline for Eternal Nightmare Project.

Server started - Monday, January 30th 2012. Extreme Beta stage.
  • Server information established, EOServ v0.5.4b started, Forum revamped.
  • Newbtown and surrounding maps developed. (1-4)
  • New newb NPCs implemented.
  • Newb Shop done.
  • Various Armors, Weapons, Objects implemented.
  • New grass and dirt tile set.
  • Newb Town designed. (5-7)

2/2/12
  • New objects added.
  • Grass/Dirt/Water tile set completed.
  • Second shop in newbtown added, and functioning. ( 8 )
  • Pubs error corrected.
  • Missed tiles/views completed.
  • Various weapons/arrows added.
  • Final touches on V0.1 implemented. V0.1 soon public.

  • Desert tile set and objects finished and added.
  • Grass objects added.
  • Various hats and paperdoll items implemented.
  • Desert map #1 added. (9)
  • Minor changes to a few older maps.
  • More NPC drops added.
  • Store that purchases NPC drops edited.
  • More weapons added.

  • Older shops edited, and corrected.
  • Newbtown is basically finished, now working on more training spots for the intermediate player.

  • Insane amount of weapons added.
  • Multiple armors added.
  • New NPCs added.
  • Side Quests and miscellaneous quests being developed.
  • Storyline being developed.
  • Shops and drops edited.
  • Various training areas and quest maps added. (16-21)
  • New interior objects added.
  • New wood tiles for houses/shops/etc. added.
  • New water tiles and other various tiles added.
  • New grass/dirt walls.
  • New MFX added. Roughly +/- 7 tracks.
  • New gold added.
  • Shady hired as moderator.



  • Damage problems being assessed.

Haven't updated this in a while.

  • New weapons pixeled.
  • Small amount of armors added.
  • Main town pathway finished.
  • Hats and armor fixes done.
  • Various training areas/pathways added. (22-28)
  • Main town added. (29)
  • Insane amount of shops and houses being added. (30-56)
    • Also includes more pathways/training areas.

  • Brand new server, with countless codes and player commands.
    • Leveling/Damage fixed.
    • Reborns.
    • AoE.
    • Quests.
    • Punishment commands and silent ones.
    • Mining/Fishing/Harvesting/Cooking/Woodcutting/Gambling.
    • Pets.
    • Weapon Effects.
    • PK command.
    • Minimal temporary player warps. (arena, main town, etc.)
    • Novelties such as login messages, etc.
    • Player commands such as /commands, /admins, /rules.


Client will be released to the public in the near future. Still working on some pro training spots and quests. Soon you can be having an insane time on Eternal Nightmare. Thank you for following these is you've read them. Screenieeee.

Haven't posted on here in a while, I know. Project is still progressing immensely.

  • Custom Graphic User Interface. (Buttons, menus etc.)
  • New walls and tiles.
  • Many new npcs.
  • Maps all connected.
  • Maintown and all shops and homes connected.
  • Every shop in main town up and running.
  • Stats on every available item.
  • Working on quests.

Have not posted on this in about 2 months LOL Figured I'd start keeping track of everything again. Obviously ALOT has happened in these twp months so I'm gunna try and summarize it to the best I can, and work forward from there.
5/15/12
  • Multiple towns now: desert, soulrend, void town.
  • Countless new quests, many for you to stumble upon while exploring.
  • Many new shops filled with items, all statted and ready for use.
  • New weapons, jewelery, armors, wings, etc.
  • Many new bosses and mini bosses including Alex Borg, Reaper, Apo, Werewolf, Executioner, and more, all with drops worth killing them for.
  • New npcs for you to slay, and MANY new training areas.
  • Training areas allowing leveling up to roughly level 50 (Highest leveled player is around 50).
  • AoE fully incorporated in new craftable AoE weapons.
  • Fishing, Mining, Woodcutting all in use and have many benefits, easiest way to make money.
  • Over 125 maps all connected for you to explore.
  • Areas consist of: forest, void, hell, swamp, caves, desert.
  • New tilesets/walls/objects.

That seems to cover most of it, if I missed anything and you know, shoot me a PM to remind me.

We are currently at client version 11 at this moment in time, and version 12 should be coming in no time. Alot is expected for version 12, we will be getting a new coded server with many new additions. We are going to add perfected versions smithing, cooking, harvesting, etc. You should expect many unique things that other games do not have, along with a whole new tilest of a snow/ice area. I'm gunna keep this updated for every version released, along with my progresses on work also. Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you enjoying Eternal Nightmare.
